About us
Iron Mesmar works with original military materials that have already lived a full life before reaching us.
Old coats, field bags, and fabrics from various wars and military eras — we take them apart and rebuild them into new products. The goal is not to hide the age of the material. Fading, repair marks, stamps, old stitching — all of it stays because it is part of the story.
Each piece takes shape according to what the available material allows. Cuts, details, and dimensions vary from one piece to another. No two pieces are exactly alike.
The original fabrics are combined with carefully selected hardware, leather, and accessories. Wherever possible, we use vintage components as well. New materials are added deliberately and sparingly.
The bag was the beginning. But the idea is bigger than a single product. Everything we make or design serves the same person: someone who cares about what they carry, how they organize it, and how they plan their journey. From the physical product to the digital tool — one line.
Iron Mesmar does not try to replicate the old.
The old is already there.
Every piece is individually made. Quantities are limited accordingly.
